Setting your Preferences

You can set many preferences from your account (which can be found in the main menu—tap the three horizontal lines ☰ in the top right of your screen and scroll down to the My Stuff section). 

Adjust your default number of portions, your preferred cooking method (Instant Pot or stove top), whether you see US or Metric measurements for volumes and weights (toggled individually), set your default allergen preferences, select your default Magic Meal Planner view, whether you see nutrition information, and customize your PDF downloads. Be sure to Save your selections after making Preference changes.

Allergen filters

Saving a default allergen filter means that when searching for a recipe in the Recipe Vault (accessed from the main menu) or from a Magic Meal Plan, those results will automatically be filtered to not show recipes containing the allergens you indicated. You can adjust these any time in your Preferences or by clicking the X beside an allergen in your search results to remove that filter for a specific search. Read more about allergens and substitutions.

Note: At this time, Wizard Plans and universal search (the magnifying glass at the top of your screen) are not filtered by saved allergen preferences.
