Home screen shortcut
Our site has been designed to work beautifully on mobile devices and desktops.
To capture the convenience of a mobile app, you can add a Home screen shortcut on your smartphone. It’s a way to save a website to your smartphone app library. The shortcut looks like an app, but it opens a saved website in an encapsulated browser when you tap it.
The home screen shortcut is convenient, but there are some things to keep in mind.
- You won't see the back button on iPhones or iPads, but you can swipe from the left edge of your screen to the right to go back (pro tip: you can swipe right to go forward!).
- Android devices have a built-in back button on the bottom navigation menu.
- Sometimes the site can get wonky when accessed from a home screen shortcut. This is typically because the encapsulated browser isn't loading the most recent version of the site.
- If you're not seeing a new feature or if things aren’t behaving as expected, try deleting your shortcut (the same way you would delete an app) and adding it back.
